First thing first... his voice is amazing and so powerful. The intro bit of this song gives me chills every time I hear it. When his voice gets higher on the "I've got some imperfections" it just gives me chills. The guitar and drums in this song are kick ass. Something about this song is just plain "sexy" to me. May not be to some, but to me.. yes. Love it. |

To me this song is about a man having an urge to cheat on his girlfriend because she's not that serious and is not ready to settle down. He can't control himself when he sees some woman that he wants because- like the song says... he cant help himself and lightning strikes again... and he finds himself cheating again. He wants to have one girl on his mind but his girlfriend isn't doing much for him. |

This song is so sad and so haunting. It was perfect for New Moon. The "satellite heart" part, i think, was that Bella had her heart orbiting around Edward and that she's "lost in the dark" now that he left her. I agree with tj23 about the part where it says "I hear you're living out of state, running in a whole new scene" that Edward left and went to Brazil. Thats what I get from it. It fits very well. I wish I had a voice like Anya's. |

This song is haunting. I find myself humming it during the day. In the beginning of the song you can hear that low whining of the guitar... it always makes me have a sad feeling when i hear it. I enjoy listening to this song very much. It worked well in New Moon. |

I find myself humming this song all the time! It is so lovely and very haunting. I agree with a lot of the comments posted here and i think this song can mean so many different things because it has so much emotion and feeling. Its a great song from a great singer. I think this song is talking about the fast paced celebrity lifestyle and all of the things that go along with it. In the lyrics they talk about the drugs and the women(models) but they also talk about the things that they miss from their old *normal* lives and how they find that those things mean a lot but they are already wrapped up in so much fame that everything must run its course. Beside the message that some people might find i think it is a really Kick Ass song! MGMT is a great band and they make revolutionary music :] |

I really love this song!! I truly think this song is about he and his girlfriend are coming home and he wants in the house but maybe her parents arent home and he wants to find a place to hide if they walk in her room! i also think that there is a bit of jealousy because he talks about how - if she moves like this...will you move her like that? But in all i think its about two people trying to do the dirty deed and have fun!!! |
