Spoon – Jealousy Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Being a jealous one myself, this song suits me well. It's very easy to understand this song whether you are the jealous type or not. Jealousy is not a good feeling and no one would feel it willingly. This song puts it well. |
Spoon – Advance Cassette Lyrics | 16 years ago |
How has no one commented on this song =( One of my favorite Spoon songs. |
Grandaddy – Aisle Seat 37-D Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song gets me everytime, I've loved it since the day I've heard it. If you've ever been in love, you'll understand. |
Kind of Like Spitting – You Got Served Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Sounds as though he's involved with a woman who gives him confidence in himself. When things were going great for her, he had trouble staying around it when he can't get it right. And it's not "Now that you're older" in fourth verse, it should be "Seems you're older" |
Kind of Like Spitting – Thrill of the Hunt Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I can relate to this song probably better than I'd like to admit. Sounds to me, the person was kicked out far before they were ready to discover themself, and they feel useless and unable to pick themselves back up. At the same time, theyre too prideful to return to the place where he was abandoned. |
Son, Ambulance – An Instant Birth Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song is amazing. I take it to mean the conflicts between himself and someone else that he's close with, but no one else sees it and perhaps its best ignored. I might be looking into the song too deeply though =) |
The Beatles – Across the Universe Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Cajun Dance Party – The Next Untouchable Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Rilo Kiley – A Man/Me/Then Jim Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I love the suicide note "If living is the problem. Well, that's just baffling" Little lines like that always get me. |
The Good Life – The Beaten Path Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I agree with hippie, it does sound as though he's singing mostly about himself in this song. One of my alltime favorites by Tim Kasher |
The Good Life – After O'Rourke's, 2:10 A.M. Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I agree with Timexconsumer72, this song really describes well the fear or being and/or dying alone. I'm sure most of us have been there or will be there. Who isn't scared of a planned future you once had with someone you used to love and it ending. |
