Kings of Leon – Back Down South Lyrics 13 years ago
At Bonnaroo 2010, Caleb explicitly states this song is "about having pride about where they are from"

Kings of Leon – Radioactive Lyrics 13 years ago
When they played this at Bonnaroo, it sounded almost exactly the same as the studio one, however (obviously) there was no choir, and that gave it such a different meaning. Much like "Going Down South" and "The Immortals" it harps on remembering who you are. It's another one of the fantastic musical arts the Kings of Leon have graced us with.

If you need any help discovering what the song means...go watch the video. I hate music videos but this one moved me. Here's to you Followill boys.

Head them play this at Bonnaroo, and there is absolutely no part of this song that I do not like. From the opening guitar riff, to Caleb's voice singing it. There is so much confidence he has singing this live.

I know this is just my interpretation, but it is probably more about their confidence. Just like in the song Fans, they remind us all that they have hit it big but the insane thing about this is how the main verse ends.

Thanks Kings of Leon for being the best band I've heard in my lifetime (that is a personal statement, don't think it means they are the best band of all time, but as far as I care? Yes, to me they are.)

Don't forget to love before you're gone. Does that need any explanation? This song is love.

The guitar in this song is awesome. I thought it might be about loving two women at the same time, but the political bits make sense too

I love this song yet it freaks me out with because of the truth behind it

Dave Matthews Band – You and Me Lyrics 15 years ago
At the very end there is a repeated sax part. This whole album is pretty much a tribute to the former fallen comrade LeRoi Moore. Since it is the same thing over and over, is it known whether this is the last of LeRoi's sax playing or is it a Jeff Coffin tribute?

Either way, it is very fitting to way to end the whole album!
