When I first heard this song I couldn't help but think "Aw..." I don't say a lot of things are cute, but this song is cute to me. The line, "You are the best thing that's ever been mine" is just so... sweet It's such a simple line, but so beautiful. The entire song is like that and Taylor Swift has a gift of making simple lines and words seem so much better which is what I love about her music.
I don't really get why people think all of Taylor's songs are about rainbows, sunshine, puppies, and unicorns or whatever but maybe that's because I don't listen to the over played songs of hers on the radio. Most of the songs I've heard by her are either falling in love, ex bofriend, or angst songs, so maybe it's just certain ones that people hear all the time. |

The first verse kinda makes sense once you think about it.
This guy is doing better than the old guy, which was what she was used to. She's not used to someone who buys what he wants and the things he buys are things she needs. She believes in love, but after so much heartache she wondering can love actually last as she once believed it could, and if it can, then just maybe she will let herself fall for the guy.
At least that's what I got from it. Yeah, Cheryl did mention in an interview that the song was about falling in love uncontolably. You promised you self you weren't going to fall in love again, but then as soon as you make that promise, Mr. Right comes along and charms your socks off and you're trying so hard to fight it, but you can't. |

I think it's a great song. I love Nicola and Kim. To me, it seems like their upset about not being "the loving kind" and trying to do everything they can to prove that they are. They start to get frustrated (hence the violence in the music vid) and really just want to know if their man will still be around because they aren't "the loving kind" and they finally realize that. |

This song is so chilling to me now, and the reason it is that way has nothing to do with the songs meaning. My grandfather asked me if it was snowing outside the night he was in the hospital for cancer. It was the last thing he said to me, and I told his 'No, not yet." He nodded a little. The next day, I was waiting to be picked up from school and my mom called and told me he died, as soon as she said that, I saw tiny snowflakes outside of the window. The day of his funeral, I was listening to this song on my mp3 player, and I walked outside, as soon as I looked up there was nothing but snow. I just stood there in the snow listening to "Calling out, somebody save me, I feel like I'm fading away" and that just amazed me. Every time I listen to this song or it snows, I think of him. |

I can totally see this song being about America now. I've had it stuck permanetly in my head ever since the performance at the grammys.(my favorite followed closely by Katy Perry and the banana. I was like please preggers don't go into labor on stage. Gotta love her guts, style and swagger though.) But America is all about making a dollar. Sad but true. It doesn't matter who you take down who you hurt or kill, in the hood especially, as long as you got bank. Money makes America go round. You need money for everything, and most have to hustle to get it now. I turn on the news and all i hear is he got killed, she got killed, drug bust, robbery, etc, is there ever any good news? I'm American, born and raised, but if u look at all the bs we got goin on over here, I wouldn't wanna be. Too much drama and all about the dollar. Every day that I look at the news there doing exactly whats described in this song. I'm in 12 grade and half of the people at my school say the same thing. We suck. America could do a lot better and I honestly don't know if our new president can change this in the amount of time he has in office. |

The new album is great, I love it. They changed their style up a little, kind of testing new waters but still kept the original sound we love them for. This song immediatly got my attention, and so far is my fav. I think it's about him not wanting to be let go of and give up on the relationship so soon. Then again, I can also see it as him telling her to Never Say Never because he beleives that they will be together. Both friends with each other but she doesn't want to ruin their friendship, but he beleives that they can and will be. That they may be the one for each other. So she shouldn't let go of them, their relationship as friends and maybe more. Don't let him go. |

I love Matt Dallas! His eyes are amazing and the bike riding scene in the music vid just bought them out more. Besides Matt, which was an awesome surprise, I loved the music video. It expresses one of the many meanings this song could have. A woman remembering a past love, the love, but he dies and now she has to deal with second best. Then when a loved one dies, people tell you that they would want you to move on and be happy, but you still aren't. Then it feels like you're cheating on them when you get someone new, making you feel even more horrible. You just want him/her back, for them to just come and take you away, to look into their eyes and see them one more time... but you never will. Katy did a wonderful job with this song. It sounds like something Alanis Morresette would sing. Especially the second verse. I think that's what drew me to this song even more. Katy seems like one of those artist I'll like everything by. Normally if i like at least three singles, I'll like all songs. My only problem with I Kissed A Girl is that when it starts, it sounds like Stripper by the Soho Dolls. (you guys thought i was going to say the girl kissing a girl part, haha! I really don't care.) |

You will be better off alone at night), he meets her again, maybe coming to get her things and he decides to tell her he's fine and doesn't need her. The minute she leaves, probably around the 'waiting and falling' line, he breaks down and is actually falling apart, but keeps telling himself he's fine until he can't anymore. |

Sara's cd is amazing it's one of those few cd's which i love every song on. This became my favorite as soon as i heard the begining. When i hear this song i always think of her sitting at a bar debating on wheather or not to call this guy whom she calls every time she's in that situation and vice versa. They both have a manipulative relationship that always starts this way and always ends up with one or both broken hearted. They're both no good for each other but always end up coming back and unable to break the pattern. It's like they're no good for each other, but in some ways they belong together.
