I think it's just sort of surrealist and doesn't have to much of a concrete meaning. Mostly it's just weird imagery, I think. But there could be a basic plot. I can see it a few ways. One would be maybe about a girl he likes, but she doesn't really like him back. Like, he took her to the movie but she moved away, and the dalmation's spots fell off. He was trying hard for her, but it wasn't good enough, or she didn't respond. And that's why the kissing is with apocalypse, which is not a good thing. But he still can't get enough of her, even though she lets him down. Another way I can see it is it has to do with drugs. Sort of similar Something for the Weekend. It could explain some of the imagery. And how he keeps coming back to it, but also has a bad relationship with it. But I don't really think there is much of a basic plot. The original version had lyrics they had written on the way to a Peel session.
