... hoping the "get a life" part of your response wasn't meant for me as i never said i didn't like the song. i found ridiculously catchy until i heard those lyrics i disapproved of. you could perceive it kind of like a joke, that's probably how they were intending it. but i don't see that anyone should ever make light of a struggle so huge. songmeanings wasnt't created just for people who like the songs. that's a fan page, there are plenty of those out there if you're interested. it's for your thoughts, opinions, anything. you joined so you could write about it & respond to everyone who wasn't impressed with the song. & thus the cycle continues. also i don't think someone not thinking this song is good makes them thick headed at all. it makes their opinion different to most of the others on here.. but that's not stupid or wrong. |

i used to skip this song when i first bought the album because it was slower, more mellow, less captivating of my attention.. but now i have no idea why i didn't listen before. thank god it's about a vision & not real life, that's all i can say.. makes listening to it bearable. before i came on here to check it out, i felt sick just listening to the lyrics. the part where he talked about seeing a girl wearing his shirt and humming his song really interests me. i think it's his way of saying that he wishes the two parts of his life could be seperate. he's just like any normal guy getting stoned in a park except that then a girl will walk past clearing reminding him he's not just a normal guy getting stoned in a park. & i wonder that she didn't notice him.. is that supposed to have something to do with it. like she knows me song, she has my merch but she walks past me in a park and doesn't recognise me. i'm not sure. but i do know that 'Your friends won't wait, so don't believe that shit, when they say they'll wait.
