I love this song.. my best friend played it for me last year, telling me that it was *the* breakup song for me and my b/f. It kinda freaked me out that NOT only does it talk about a girl who goes abroad and hooks up with lots of English boys (yummy) but also that her name is Jess (like me!) Brand New rocks and I'm glad my best friend got me interested. |

Custom wrote this after he was in a club and he noticed guys picking up on his sisters. He realized he was doing the same thing to another girl and thought about how traumatizing it must be for some of these girls' fathers. hehe. I love this song. I absolutely love this song and John Mayer. His lyrics are so genuine and universal, and he sings them with such feeling it's awesome. I LOVE the live version of this song, when he's talking about the rolling in the hay and stuff. ^_^ He's such an amazing artist, and he's even better live.
