The Narrative is a Indie Pop band formed by Suzie Zeldin and Jesse Gabriel in 2008 in Long Island.

Previous the formation of the band, Suzie and Jesse studied at the same school, but without knowing each other. Years later, Jesse posted a letter to Craiglist looking for a musician around Long Island to form a band. The band published it's first song "End All Arrival" under the name of January Windows in Myspace in 2007.

After changing the name to The Narrative, the band recorded it's first EP, "Just Say Yes" released in 2008. Following, in 2010, the band released the first full-lenght album, "The Narrative" which was promoted with a Warped Tour performance and a tour with Eisley. Later in 2012, the compilation"B-Sides and Seasides" and in 2016, the second studio album "Golden Silence".

The band return in 2021 with the single "Monoliths".
