I think its about how sometimes science takes the meaning out of things. Science teaches us that the Universe happened purely coincidentally and chemically, so if you think about this, its likely that there is no 'meaning of life'. We're all just atoms, 'just living on'.
I think its about how science is slowly overtaking religion in terms of what people believe, but at least if you believe in a religion, you believe there is a point to it all. Science helps explain about the world around you, but not about your spirituality or the world inside you, so to speak, whereas religion does.
