Lyrics may be very hard to understand when you're not a native speaker. F.e. "6 Richtige" is a usual expression for winning the lottery (you have to choose 6 out of 49 numbers).
I always thought the song criticizes the common meaning that everything was much better in the past. You remember only the good things in the past and see only the worse things in the present. Of course the song is ironic but I don't think it's about the reunification of germany and the words of the former chancellor "es wird dort blühende Landschaften geben" (means something like that in the former east germany everything will be fine soon).
I think the song shall let us look in the mirror and see, that not everything we see and experience right now is bad.
