I think he could be referring to the color of the girl's aura, or her energy. It is said that every person emanates color depending on their state of mind/body/spirit, though it can only be detected with a special camera that capturates it. In any case, amber means "individual strength and courage", and golden yellow ("shades of gold display naturally") means "inspirational thought". No matter what he really meant, if it was the name of a girl, or even the color of the girl's hair, I think is a beautifull song :)
I would have to agree with you. I totally have a guy who has a golden aura/ energy around him, and he's a bit too far away, so i can't see him all the time, but it's a golden experience every time i do see him. Just gotta figure out what it all means now.
