"Let it die and get out of my mind"
"Losing your mind for the sake of your heart"
Brilliantly said. I too would rather lose my mind than heart. Unfortunately, once you start losing your mind, eventually you'll lose your heart.
When the troubles start, it slowly declines than it eventually picks up speed and ends. After a heartbreak you begin to just not want to do anything, wake up only to continually hit the snooze button. The night finally catches up with the day and you sit in your room listening to the same songs about heartbreak. You watch the moon slowly move it's way across your window, realizing how much time has gone by. Everything reminds you of the other person. Everything around you just seems to be about love, you turn on the television there's a show about love, turn on the radio there's a song about heartbreak. Walking around almost seems effortless, your legs are moving but all you can focus on is that person, you can feel how empty your eyes are. Eventually you find yourself in a rut and realize that you can't continue on this way. Finally you find out that it wasn't what you thought it was and you learn from that. It's a heart-wrenching process but as long as you make your way out of it, it's a beautiful result.
