I'd Love to know where Mike got the Lyrics for this song?? Has he flown before (If so COOL!) I've always liked this song in particular the few opening bars!! Super-cool... (But then I'm a Flying Geek so what do I know?)

I've seen alot of explainations for the lyrics to this one, there's roumers it was something that'd actually happened to him but I'm not sure myself.

Have to admit though in general, it's seriously one of the most bizzare songs ever written, with over a half dozen different distinctive vocal sections with seperate voices, and some rather odd lyrics.

It's about a flying experience he had on a tour in Spain. They were in a twin-prop light plane and were inside a storm. He explains in an interview that's on Youtube.
