This song is about a girl with a guy friend with a girlfriend, and they both like each other, but he would rather deny the affair, preserve the appearance of his integrity, and blame everything on the girl instead of taking responsibility for himself and his feelings. It's a frustrating situation to be in.

I think she knew right away that she loved him and then found out he had a girlfriend, it doesn't say the same day or when she finds out, so I don't think she's bad.
