Actually this song is from the 2000 album Liquored Up and Lacqured down. Seeing as how 2 of the members of the band are from my hometown and my hubby and I are HUGE fans who've seen this band live about a million times, I gotta set the record straight here:

It's "Hundred dollar bills stuffed in Florsheim boots." Florsheim being the brand that all the little old men wear with their spiffy leisure suit.

And he's also "Smelling like mentholated soda pop" referring to the menthol cigarettes that all the old coots around here smoke and the fact that they've always got a can of soda somewhere nearby.

He's also a "Blue Ridge business man" since all of the members of SCOTS are from the Blue Ridge area of VA & NC. And "He's an independent contractor." Not sure what a Pentacon tractor is - we only own Massey Fergusons.

And finally "He's the King of corn and porn from way back in the holler." Not sure where Nerhada is, but it's nowhere near Franklin County, VA - the moonshine capitol of the country. lol

So yes...this song has tons of meaning to those of us who live in the area where this band has it's roots. I've got so many memories of the old farts around here hanging out at the local country store, starting at all the females. I can just SEE this man in my head! :o)
