I don't watch Gray's Anatomy (ducks from the flying pans), but I someone recommended Kate if I liked Imogen Heap and Frou-Frou-ish music.
Well, I do like Kate, and this was the second song I had heard of her (first being "New Day") And this is really my favorite.
That being said, I see alot of people interpret the "there's no time" lines on their own, but I was under the impression she was continuing from the "Unlike me..." part:
i.e. Unlike me, unlike me... do you think I'm strange?
Unlike you, unlike you... I am not pretending... there's no time."
I think it goes along great with the first part of the song, where she's complimenting the person on how lively they are, unlike she, who's a bit of a realist, and knows she can't live as if there's no time. This also goes well with the next part, where she explains it a little more:
"the past, the present, and the future... are all side by side, hand in hand."
She's saying that these deminsions are real, and they are so close that they're practically holding hands. She points out that the other person lives on, but nothing changes for them, because they live with no time. Puzzled, the other person asks her to explain further this revelation, but she doesn't want to. To them, right then and there, the room stays the same, but to her, the room and time are changing, and changing fast.
