This is great song, and yeah it's really sad. At first I thought it was about like a relationship that she thought would last forever because of the line "That last kiss I'll cherish until we meet again" and because of the "my darling" stuff at the end, you know like I thought it was about a person who claimed that they'd be together forever and then they just take off.
But the thing about the heroin overdose makes sense too. This song gets me all choked up too. It is really powerful, that's what I like about Pink, her emotional songs all feel so real especially since i can relate to so many of the situations in her songs.
