Also, that even though there are these problems, some peoples escapism (Darren's obviously for example) is music. Either creating it, listening to it... it's just such a very intimate thing if you think about it, because not everyone likes the same music, not everyone hears it the same way, not everyone interperts it in the same manner... it's very cathardic and can help you relax and temporarily forget about all the harsh realities of the world which most of us have little to no control over.
