I wouldn't really take them as a band to write about abusing Christianity nor God. I'm going to give it my own guess on all of the God stuff being a metaphor for someones who's being walked all over and is tired of it.
I'm thinking this whole stanza is explaining the life of the person being walked all over emphasize on the whole "I'am your marytr, your stigmata" sentence. This is telling you how much the person is devoted. As is the rest of that stanza.
