To me the song is describing a situation in which a teenager is thrown in to an adult world to take care and manage everything. Though this young person thinks he or she can manage everything the reality is he or she is only a child and shouldn't have to carry a grown persons burden. It could really be parents who are irresponsible and this child is asuming all of tDon't strain your head, child,
