What a pity, there are so few comments about Naglfar, one of the best and most underrated Black/Death Metal bands. When you love Dissection, you will like Naglfar as well.
Anway, this song is my favorite from the album Diabolical. The lead guitar is amazing and Jens' screams are haunting. Naglfar are a perfect example how Black Metal can be extremely melodic without using keyboards all the time.
It's hard for me to comment on the lyrics, since they seem more like a series of images to me. It seems to be about the coming of an ancient evil. If I wouldn't know it sounds completely stupid I would say it's about a lunar eclipse. Thats because of the lines
"The choir of wolves echoes, the eclipse is now complete
Thousands of throats is howling to praise IT's supreme infernal glare"
since Wolves tend to howl at the moon. Also the line
"The paleness ITself has risen
From IT's slumber to reach out in IT's full shape"

made me think about it...
But probably its all metaphoric...
