Cover art for A Letter To Dominique lyrics by Louis XIV

Obviously it's about Dominique committing suicide. She had been contemplating it for a long time - "You have a bold imagination/ The countless ways to die".

The "last stroll down the block was in the trunk of a car" refers to her coffin in the back of a hearse.

I read the lyrics before actualy listening to the song, and was expecting a slow sad song (a la With Or Without You). How wrong I was.
