Kurt was partying with one of the chicks from Bikini Kill and she kept on saying he smelt like teen spirit. Kurt didn't even know what teen spirit was when he wrote the song. @Mace Hm, who was there or not? That could be the question, hehe. I think I was there when the mentioned "party", or social gathering happened. I probably was the person that wrote the lyric "Smells Like Teen Spirit", that also became the Nirvana song. Regarding the spraying of the expression at the walll, I was there then too, but I dont remember who did it, it could be one of the "chicks", or me, hehe. More, I can remember vaguely both Kathleen Hanna the punk girl/woman, could be quite facinating, and also Kurts girlfriend, but I yet don`t remember...
