It Goes To Bed Lyrics
Nobody's arrived
The thoughts on people's minds are
We're nothing
Not to realize
Everybody's thoughts
Mean something
All we do is blame
But we're the one's at fault
No one's perfect
We don't belong in this biz
So pack up your vintage life
We're leaving
And they know what's on television
They dress how the others dress
And they feel without the truth of even feeling

what does this song mean?

I THINK it is about how rooney doesnt match what the popular music scene, "I'll tell it like it is We don't belong in this biz So pack up your vintage life We're leaving" and how sad the quality of pop music in this age is. "They say what they think they know And they know what's on television They dress how the others dress And they feel without the truth of even feeling"
and it really is. sad, that is.

I agree completely.
I think that this song is about Rooney's frustration with the other people in the music industry and how people do things and sing things that are exactly like what everyone else is doing. They don't want to have to deal with all of that copying and they just want people to do things because they want to; not because it's the popular thing.
