It's been a long day
At the bottom of the hill
They say she died of a broken heart
She told me I was living in the past
Drinking from a broken glass

I'm Alone
Now I turn to face the cold
I'm Alone
Now I turn to travel home

I walked down
to the other end today
Just to catch those last few rays
I held out my hands and slowly waved goodbye
I turn my eyes to the sky

She'll come back to me

I held out my hands to the light and I watched it die
I know, that I was part to blame
But I've done my time
and I Never want to spend my life alone

General CommentReally is a beautiful song isn't it. Well this was the first song I heard by downface, actually I got it off of kazaa when searching for some tool and came upon this by accident. Ever since this song I've been hooked on Downface. Absolutely hooked. These guys are amazing. Nuff said.

General CommentI personally thought this song was Pearl Jam when I first heard the guy singing. Then I decided to do some investigating and found out who they really are. But anyways, this song is awesome. Goodnight

General CommentI got it off the internet with the name Alice in Chains with Pearl Jam!

Anyway, I think it is about a guy who probably intentionally/unintentionally manged to hurt someone he loved and she committed suicide. Later he realizes he cannot live without her and feels guilty about being responsible about her death. In the end, he decides to die too coz he 'can't live alone'.

General CommentThis song sucks. When people said it sounds like AiC/PJ, I thought they meant it would sound GOOD. Instead it's the usual bullshit post-grunge that fagged up the airwaves from the late nineties to now.

General Comment"Hey guys I have an idea, let's steal Alice in Chains' sound from Sap and Jar of Flies, steal their double lead singer style, and let's copy Layne Staley's voice, but instead of copying Jerry Cantrell's voice, let's copy Eddie Vedder's!"
however this song is very passable because the lyrics are fucking great. And they arent even the worst grunge impersonators... see Creed and Puddle of Mudd... eew.
