Kill that drummer!

Well, I got a friend (who's a man!)
What man?
The man who keeps me from the lovely
He gives me what I need
(What you need?) What you got?
I need it all so badly

Anything I want he gives it to me
Anything I want he gives it, but not for free
It's hateful
And it's paid for and I'm so grateful to be nowhere

This year I've lost some friends
(Some friends?) What friends?
I dunno, I ain't even noticed

You see, I gotta go out again
(Again?) My friend
I gotta see that mainman

Oh CHORUS (2x)

I killed all my nerves
My nerves? What swerves?
And I can't drive so steady

Oh, I've lost my memory
My mind? Behind!
I can't see so clearly

Oh, anything I want he gives it to me
Anything I want he gives it, but not for free
He give it to me
Anything I want he gives it, but not for free
He give it to me
He give it to me
Not for free, not for free, not for free
(It's not for free, it's not for free
It's not free, it's for me)

General CommentProbably my favorite No Doubt song (along with groovin shoes, and their cover of DJs). I take this song as about being in a relationship with someone, and wanting the relationship, sucking for some reason.

I think some of the words are wrong, but whatever.

General CommentI don't know why, but this song always makes me think of a drug deal. Or atleast being in a care free kind of mood.

General CommentThis song is about drugs. A lot of songs by The Clash deal with the drug lifestyle (Koka Kola, etc.)
