Panzer Division Marduk Lyrics
Black, fearsome and grim and mighty
Panzer division Marduk rolls over enemy land
Striking hard and fast against your lines
We blow your fortress into sand
The victory is Satan's but the battle is ours
We avenge you for centuries of rape, murder and theft
Behold the power of our killing machine
There'll be nothing but dust when the vultures have left
Forged in the essence of the unholy flames
By the first angel once fallen from the skies
The war hounds of hell can't be stopped on our march
To extinguish the goodness and lies
Panzer division Marduk continues its triumphant crusade
Against christianity and your worthless humanity
Panzer division Marduk rolls over enemy land
Striking hard and fast against your lines
We blow your fortress into sand
We avenge you for centuries of rape, murder and theft
Behold the power of our killing machine
There'll be nothing but dust when the vultures have left
By the first angel once fallen from the skies
The war hounds of hell can't be stopped on our march
To extinguish the goodness and lies
Against christianity and your worthless humanity

It's quite obviously about leading some sort of holy Satanic war against Christianity, and it's put into the context of a World War II-type situation.

There's a pattern of WWII-referencing in a lot of Marduk's music. But, for this song, the Panzers were a division of the Schutzstaffel - the SS - during WWII. As I'm sure we all know, Hitler's Protective Corps were quite powerful. I agree with kaoruchan100, while adding my two cents on the matter.

This song has nothing to do with WW2, panzer is simply the German word for any armored vehicle, the song is simple using the term panzer division as a metaphor to describe the power of Marduk against Christianity.
