Pick me up
Been bleeding too long
Right here, right now
I'll stop it somehow

I will make it go away
Can't be here no more
Seems this is the only way
I will soon be gone
These feelings will be gone
These feelings will be gone

Now I see the times they change
Leaving doesn't seem so strange
I am hoping I can find
Where to leave my hurt behind
All the shit I seem to take
All alone I seem to break
I have lived the best I can
Does this make me not a man?

Shut me off
I'm ready
Heart stops
I stand alone
Can't be my own

I will make it go away
Can't be here no more
Seems this is the only way
I will soon be gone
These feelings will be gone
These feelings will be gone

Now I see the times they change
Leaving doesn't seem so strange
I am hoping I can find
Where to leave my hurt behind
All the shit I seem to take
All alone I seem to break
I have lived the best I can
Does this make me not a man?

Am I going to leave this place?
What is it I'm running from?
Is there nothing more to come?
(Am I gonna leave this place?)
Is it always black in space?
Am I going take its place?
Am I going to win this race?
(Am I going to leave this race?)
I guess God's up in this place?
What is it that I've become?
Is there something more to come?
(More to come)

Now I see the times they change
Leaving doesn't seem so strange
I am hoping I can find
Where to leave my hurt behind
All the shit I seem to take
All alone I seem to break
I have lived the best I can
Does this make me not a man?

General CommentP.S. If you "care" about the band as much as you claim to; instead of ripping their album offline, or from the back of a truck, support them and lay down the thirteen bucks for their CD at an actual store. Novel concept.

MemoryThis has got to be one of Korn's most underrated songs. I think many people don't talk about it because it doesn't sound as hard as their other songs, and that's a real shame because the lyrics to this song are some of the most powerful to yet!

This song touches on a very heavy topic, the thought of just ending it all, the feeling of "I could die right now and I wouldn't care". Suicide... It also touches on male depression, and the fact that society expects men to "act like a man". Whenever they show signs of weakness, or depression, the are immediately frowned upon, mucked at, ect. This, of course, can be represented by the line "Does this make me not a man?"

The line "leaving doesn't seem so strange" encapsulates PERFECTLY what it's like to have suicidal thoughts. For normal people, death is something scary and something they want to avoid, some don't even like to think about it for too long. Normal people might see suicidal people and ask themselves "how could anyone want to die?", and what those people fail to realize is that suicidal people probably thought the same thing too at one point. When you're depressed beyond what's normal, or when you find yourself in a shitty situation that seems to have no end, the thought of ending it suddenly starts to become comforting... The fact that they could just escape everything by pulling the trigger... It's a very scary hole that not many people can get out of, and that's exactly what this song represents, the thought of dying suddenly not seeming that scary anymore.

I first heard about this song when going through a break down, alone in my room (fitting I know). The lyrics felt so fucking real, it was as if my thoughts were pulled out of my brain and turned into a song. It legitimately touched my soul. This song helped me a lot, and for that it will always be one of my favorite Korn songs.

General CommentWord to dema at the top, he hit the point dead on. Evem though hes a little lost on the name, hes right about everything else. A lot of us have contemplated suicide, myself included, but it can never be worth it.
