I'm reaching out without a sound
My pride falls to the floor again
Inside my mind I search to find
A place just to call my own

Deep inside your eyes
I am blinded by your love
Still I run so far just to find that
I'm alone again

In my head
I hear you calling me
And I can't run â??cause there's nothing left for me
When I fall you always follow me deep inside
Deep inside
Deep inside of my head

I just can't last as these feelings pass
Once again I hide the pain inside
The smile wears thin and the lies begin
To bring me down again

When I run I run so far away from you
I hide the pain and all the lies deep inside again
And all my faith I put in you
This time you take it all away

Inside my head

Deep inside
My head

I agree. This song is awesome. The lyrics and the beat is good and it just blows me away at how great it is. And i feel a lot of people could relate to this song including myself.

I think this song relates more to their roots as a band. They're a Christian band, and I think they're talking about God. What I like is how bands like this and Dead Poetic never really refer to God directly, but rather indirectly. I'm not really a Christian but people singing "Glorrryyyyyy to the FAttherrrr" just makes me disregard the whole song.

He's got some personal issues going on and is looking to his god for help, imho

As a Christian I here him refer to what we all experience when we answer to a calling from God.

this is stating that he is going through troubled times and has nowhere to go, and when god finally calls his name he accepts his call because he cant turn to anyone, and he realizes that when he falls down god follows him and after all that has happend when he accepts god and has faith all the pain goes away

this guy knows that God is calling him, but however, he is confused, he does not know whether to listen to God's voice or not because he feels that he might lose everything he has.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
