Show me Show me Show Me how you do that trick the one that makes me scream," she said
"the one that makes me laugh," she said
And threw her arms around my neck

"Show me how you do it
And I promise you
I promise that
I'll run away with you
I'll run away with you."

Spinning on that dizzy edge
I kissed her face i kissed her neck
dream of all the different ways
I had to make her glow.

"Why are you so far away?" she said,
"Oh won't you ever know,
That I'm in love with you,
That I'm in love with you?"

you
soft and only
you
lost and loney

strange as angels
dancing in the deepest water
twisting in the water
your just like a dream
just like a dream

Daylight whipped me into shape.
Must've been asleep for days
moving lips to breathe her name,
I opened up my eyes.

And found myself alone, alone
alone above a raging sea
that stole the only girl i loved
and drowned her deep inside of me

you
lost and only
you
soft and only
you
Just like heaven

I really love this song, but the ataris didn't cover it i'm pretty sure. It's by goldfinger. But the song is still amazing.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
