"The Stallion Pt. 3" as written by and Michael Melchiondo Aaron Freeman....
Mach 10 at sudden speed
Flying into the wind now
I'm flowing at my feet
Something of likeness to you now

I spotted you in the sun
I called your name from a distance
I knew you were the one
I called again

I do declare
I can float in the air
And with some love from above
Don't caress the weasel

And don't fall too soon
Don't seek the blood from the panther
Don't take a trip to you soon
I'm the one

Helding the time back from the sun
As I scope the lobe
I am the one who controls the sun
And I know that things will pass

As time elapses
Time elapsing through the sound of you;
And the things we could do
Just think of the master

Trying to fool the blastman
Check the cards at the table
Scream softly you are able
To see the sign of thine self as

Throughout the ages of time
Things u thought weren't going to
Climb the mountain
See the sun

Touch the waves of the earth
Feel the grass softly
And don't think for the one you know
I am - screaming backward in the sand

(Hey, dude, he's the stallion)

General CommentI think this song is one of weens best. It is just a bunch of misc words that sound fantastic together. It's a great one. I don't think there is a lot of meaning to it, just a funny song. Ween is great.

General CommentEach Stallion part released on a major album {not live or Online only} is about a different drug, as so:

Part 1: Sounds Like Booze, or maybe Acid. Maybe a mix. It's making him mean, scared, angry, and giving him a feeling of power.

Part 2: Weed. Really clear. Or maybe a depressant, but Weed is a pretty good guess.

Part 3: LSD. He's having hallucinations, believes himself to have powers, engaging in "screaming backwards" and "screaming softly" talking of floating, out of body experiences, holding time from the sun.

And yes, Ween doth rocketheth ass off.

General CommentThe stallion is about... riding upon the stallion. you know, when you drop acid or come up on mushrooms. its like mounting a wild stallion and trying to hang on. sometimes you fall off and its not good. the first one is about the stallion becoming angry at you for not respecting it properly. the second is about dismounting the stallion. the third is the wisdom the stallion bringeth. the fourth is a testament to the stallion itself. and the fifth is... the worst of the 4. then there is the stallion master. dunno what its about.

also, the stallion is a poster. if you watch the push the lil daisy's video, it shows the poster. probably where the inspiration came from.

General CommentActually, I have always loved this song because it makes so much sense. It's not just a bunch of hallucinations or non-sense jabber, but these words are pretty wise.

General CommentWell there are some good comments but I just wanted to add mine. My "interpretation" of the song is that it is a white version of a rap song. Complete with toasting. The words are full of bragadoccio, like most rap done by black artists, but with a decidedly white, geeky slant. And near the end, it really sounds to me like he is saying "screaming black words in the sand", not the backwards everyone else hears.

I fully acknowledge that we all hear what we want to hear and only the artist knows what intent he had, if any :)
