When you're starting to choke take some pills with your coke
It's inspirational
When your life is a mess light one more cigarette
It's so logical

Well it's something your mother can't abide
But it's something that I freely prescribe

Take yourself for a ride
It never felt so good
As the night that you and I played robin hood
Stealing from the backrooms of my mind
Remembering a time when we were five
A time I thought we'd left behind

When I'm starting to cry
Come and sit by my side
I will love you so
And when nightmares come
I will try to be fun, even though;
I'm so scared you know

Well it's something your mother can't abide
But it's something that I freely prescribe

Take yourself for a ride
It never felt so good
As the night that you and I played robin hood
Stealing from the backrooms of our minds
Stealing from a time when we were five
A time I thought we'd left behind

Stealing from the backrooms of our minds
Stealing from a time when we were five
A time I thought we'd left behind

When you're starting to choke take some pills with your coke
It's hysterical

General CommentClose but not quite. I think he's referring to the fact it's easy to get high and pissed when things are going wrong.(starting to choke, take some pills with your coke) But all your doing is robbing from the richness of your mind, and giving to the poorer spirits.

We do this cause we are shit scared sometimes of life (I'm so scared you know)
Our parents will try and be there for us (one thing your mother can't abide) but we always know better (but it's something that I freely prescribe). The high of drink and drugs whilst feeling amazing is just stealing from your own head and spirit (take yourself for a ride, never felt so good, as the night when you and I played robin hood)
I only found out the other day that a lot of OCS songs are about Alcohol. As a recovering alcoholic I find them more soothing than ever.
