I want to tell you a little story about a party that went all right, but went all wrong. I want to tell you a little story about a party in this song...

It happened back in '93, in the pittsburgh punk rock scene. An event that will go down in infamy. It was all the master plan, of one legendary punk rock kid. His name was "Spaz", S-P-A-Z...

An eviction notice sent to his house sparked off an idea, "I should have one last party at my place..." So off he set with his master plan, the invitation in his hand read, "You're invited to my House Destruction Party!"

Chorus: Spaz's House Destruction Party, it was chaos with no end. If you were crazy enough to make the House Destruction Party, then you know You're lucky that you lived.

We played there St. Patrick's day with Submachines and THE BAD GENES. In a basement full of debris. From kicked in doors, broken glass, kicked in walls THE PLACE WAS TRASHED. The house was now missingits support beams.

The bathrooms had no toilets or sinks left in them. There was nothing left to break. Aus Rotten spray painted on walls, drunk punks passed out in the halls. And this was just the second night, of a three-day long party.

Chorus (repeat)

The cops showed up and all the kids went pilling out the back. I remember running away and hidding out in the lot behind the Squirrel Hill Mellon Bank. The cop said, "I want to speak to someone who lives here!" and this punk kid said she did. He asked, "Is this the condition this house has always been in?". She answered, "Ah... yeah, it is."

Hahaha, this is the funniest song. I love Anti-Flag and this song just amuses me. The song pretty much explains itself.. There was a party.. it really happened in '94, but you can't rhyme "scene" with "four", hah. And only one kid, Corey, sprayed Aus Rotten on the wall, haha.. Listen to the live tracks at the end of the Mobilize CD and you'll know what I'm talking about.

This is such an awesome song, it is different than a lot of AF's other songs, not that they aren't awesome or anything, but it is good to have a change of pace every now and then. I wish I could have gone to the House Destruction Party.

I love Spaz, and this song, and the idea of a house destruction party. I wish I would have been there.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
