    General CommentIm almost positive its about childhood innocence- silent kid- not "corrupted" yet although his familly is terrible. About the gossip part- I read that- I guess the kid is silent in terms of not noisy, doesn't get in the way of anything. The best kids are normally seen as the silent ones- they dont talk, so they dont say anything bad. Then the person singing the song is doing "adult stuff" in comparison and hopes that the child never looses his innocence

    General CommentI always assumed the final bit was about taking the drug ecstasy, chewing on pacifiers or lolly pops and ending the night alone.

    As for the name, you might as well go around trying to get people to call Inna Godda Davida "In the Garden of Eden".

    General CommentPavement are one of those great bands where they have songs that really don't have any meaning - negating this website truly! Love the way it starts, as an intro to the album and the song. Before it kicks in, I'm sure he says, "Okay, Scott". The entire album has alot of references to drummers, maybe due to the fact that they kicked out the last drummer before this album. Kit? Drumstick? Snare Kick? Bloody Great song!
