Eyes to sun, she lays in peace
Eyes bear complacence
Brown, the meadow grows tall to the sun
Seasons have come, they have gone yeah

Buried in dirt, her torso lays
One limb dangles
Brown, the meadow grows tall to the sun
Seasons have come, they have gone

Please take me back to my healing home
Please take me back to my toy box
Ours, not for their own

Eyes to sun, she lays in peace
Eyes bear complacence
Brown, the meadow grows tall to the sun
Seasons have come, they have gone

Please take me back to my healing home
Please take me back to my toy box
Please take me back to my little girl's hand
Please take me back to my toy box
Yeah, ours, not for their own
Ours, not for the old

Buried in dirt, her torso lays
One limb dangles
Brown, the meadow grows tall to the sun
Seasons have come, they have gone

Please take me back to my healing home
Please take me back to my toy box
Please take me back to
This little girl's hand
Please take me back to my toy box
Ours, not for their own
Ours, not for the old

General CommentSeems that it's about a doll that has been abandoned in a field or "meadow". This is through the doll's point of view. It's out alone in the meadow, time has passed and it's starting to decay. The doll wishes it was back in the comfort of it's home, a child's toy box.

General Commentwhat a fucking impressive song. not talking about the lyrics, just... listen to it. It's so - sabbath? Well, if black sabbath had the luck of having chris on vocals.

I need to get a live version. For what people say, Hiro used to sing it...

General CommentThe literal interpretation is a doll that has been tortured and wants to go back to its toybox.

General Commentits about ageing i think, some girl has died and has lost her innocence and someone wants to return to their childhood and resist change"please take me back to my healing home, please take me back to my toy box"
    toy box just symbolising childhood.
but i have no clue about the girl i think it is topical lyrics that u would need to ask chris about.

General CommentThe music is so haunting and the lyrics are pretty creepy as well. I think its just about a girl who is dead and wants to return to her childhood.

General CommentWhat a sad & awesome song. Can't help but think it's about childhood. I totally feel Chris on this one. :(

General CommentAnybody notice how these lyrics could seriously be the anthem for the Toy Story series! In particular, they tell the story of Jessie to a T: she was abandoned by her female owner in a meadow, and longed to be back with her.
