So now I got a black eye
Even though I never got smacked
But if I get a retry
Then I will try to give one back
You were the one who got jacked
And I hope you will forgive me
for whenever I capsize

I know that you can see it in my eyes
I'm not myself right now
My biggest problem is to compromise
But I'm sure I would know how
I show my tragedy with my black eye

I've been the one to deny
Everything that you do
I said it's all a big lie
Always questioning you
Even though you've been true
And I know that I've been nothing more
than just a jealous guy

But everybody's talking about you
All the time about things you do
And that's the only time I do realise
That I do love being close to you
Guess that's the thing that I just can't stand
I'm selfish more than I am a man

For me this song is about a relationship. The guy in the relationship has made some really stupid mistakes and always got jealous but didn’t realise how great his girlfriend is. But he’s certain that his girlfriend knows that the way he’s acting isn’t really him and that he wants to change.

satan hater, that's what i like about punk-o-rama..i mean sure, what is the pure definition of punk?? it's all different to anyone, i mean..yeah, they have ska (voodoo glow skulls) and perhaps what you'd call "emo" in blackeye, but when it comes down to it, all of the bands on the CD have different styles..so you can't just define "punk" and put it into a box..nevertheless i LOOOVE this song =) and millencolin rocks..woohooies

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
