A Million Love Songs Lyrics
Put your head against my life
What do you hear?
A million words just trying to make
The love song of the year
Close your eyes, but don't forget
What you have heard
A man who’s trying to say a few words
Words that make me scared
A million love songs later
And here I am trying to tell you
That I care
A million love songs later
And here I am
Look in to the future now
This is what I see
A million chances past me by
A million chances to hold you
Take me back - take me back
To were I use to be
And hide away from all my thoughts
Through the light I see
A million love songs later
And here I am trying to tell you
That I care
A million love songs later
And here I am
I missed a million, a million chances to love you
I missed a million, a million chances to show you that I care
I missed a million, a million chances too tough
So baby will you always be there
A million love songs later
And here I am trying to tell you
That I care
A million love songs later
And here I am
What do you hear?
A million words just trying to make
The love song of the year
What you have heard
A man who’s trying to say a few words
Words that make me scared
And here I am trying to tell you
That I care
A million love songs later
And here I am
This is what I see
A million chances past me by
A million chances to hold you
To were I use to be
And hide away from all my thoughts
Through the light I see
And here I am trying to tell you
That I care
A million love songs later
And here I am
I missed a million, a million chances to show you that I care
I missed a million, a million chances too tough
So baby will you always be there
And here I am trying to tell you
That I care
A million love songs later
And here I am

I cannot believe no-one has commented on this song.... That's insane! It must have been released in about 1993 or something... 15 years ago guys!
Anyway... It's pretty clear that this song is about a couple that have broken up but he regrets it and wants her back so writes a lovely song - or a million songs anyway (if only all men were like this, haha.)
Yes it's cheesy with the sax but really, it's a classic and I do honestly love it.
It's true this song is ridiculously cheesey, but you gotta love it! It still sounds good after all these years and it's an absolute classic.
It's a pretty simple song to figure out - the guy wants the girl, and is still there for her even after a million love songs, or in other words a long long time.
It's also on Gavin and Stacey (BBC3); used as their first dance at their wedding - aw!
Woot! Woot! =) i luv this band! Maybe not many fans ave posted ere, as this website isn't entirely known by many Take That fans. We shud spread the word, u know? The lyric's "Take me back, take me back, to where i used to be!", shows that he longs 2 b back there wit her. "Here i am tryin to tell u that i care", he wants 2 b there 4 her, 2 support her.
