I'm Kissing You Lyrics
The strong will never fall,
But watching stars without you,
My soul cried.
Heaving heart is full of pain,
oh, oh, the aching.
I'm kissing you, oh.
Touch me deep, pure and true,
Gift to me forever
'Cause I'm kissing you, oh.
I'm kissing you, oh.
Where are you now?
'Cause I'm kissing you.
I'm kissing you, oh.

Lots of people, not just on here, have said they want this song for their wedding. I get that its a romantic tune but the lyrics.... have they not read the lyrics? At your weddings? REALLY?
At your wedding will your 'heart is full of pain'? Will your be 'aching'? Will your 'soul be crying'?
Maybe you will think im wrong but you can deny atleast SOME of the lyrics connote negative images. But still everyone's like this song is so sweet i want it at my wedding. Please, think it through people!
*can't deny sorry. Wow that spelling mistake really undermined the drama i was going for ;)

@underfire @alrightyea - I don't normally get negative, but your combination of negativity and ironic stupidity forced me to. After all, a double negative is a positive isn't it? Which is kind of the point here - the sweet sorrow of realising that one is in pain without another is a core part of love. At this point, I've probably lost you simpletons possessed of the hubris to call people dumb 12-year-olds for misunderstanding songs that you are, in fact, misunderstanding yourself. The sad counterpoint in a lovesong highlights the love in focus itself, like shadows, emphasizing highlights. Or, in...

Or, in dumb 12-year-old speak that you may understand, I'm sad without you, I'm happy with you = good love song.

This song is so sad but true. The person is telling themselves they are so strong, but once their lovers love is fading they become weak. They are trying so hard to tell the person please show me you love me (Touch me deep, pure and true). But when they kiss it's not the same, and the other person isn't caught up in the moment at all(Where are you now? Cause I'm kissing you. ) It's basically the song of a love thats ending
excellent interpretation - especially the part about not being caught in the moment anymore... thanks for posting this

Why did you put a song on here ??? Anyways, this song is just beautiful I want to cry everytime I here, I think it's like unrequited love or lost love either way ... I think it's kinda like I'm still loving you and I want you but you're not here. sad.

this song is utter perfection. It fits in so beautifully in the movie and helps connect the story of Romeo and Juliet to this day and age. It's funny though, that the lyrics refer to an established relationship, but Romeo and Juliet only knew each other for a day.

what a dramatic song, it touches ones heart.

great song...

omg this in romeo & juliet juat makes me wanna cry

its been a long long time, since i lost myself put my pride down on the table, put my fear on the shelf so i bought myself a thrown to reside and let myself go but ive travelled much too far, where ive gone i'll never know
(chorus) what a long, long time long, long time It's been a little old while since i felt so fine wanderin' in the rain losing my mind what a long, long time x2
my days i've spent relaxing turned to nights relaxin' too a thousand eyes upon me, but my sights are missing you so this time i swear i will loosen my grip on past times, and bad lines, and meaningless trips.
chorus
so, over and over mile signs pass by my side the more you try to find yourself the more you tend to hide behind these forest trees and greens that blind your eyes to lounge upon that thrown i bought, confer there with the wise
chorus
so here we appear, the rest lost themselves in a pit of fear for who? what can i do? but let them all come through the wall and though some oppose many of these things i know i'll stay here alone, and lose myself on the riverways of days i'm coming home.
chorus

i love the symphony in the background

Personally i prefer the orchestral version, but, these have to be the best lyrics to go with it. (yes, i am sad enough to have the soundtrack.....:P) Whenever i hear it i want to be in love.....
