Vide Infra Lyrics

vide infra= roughly translated meaning paying attention to the inferior.
completley amazing song..band...lead singer....just so breath taking.

Definalty about the diversity of the world and how theres so much racist things.

Song Meaning breakdown:
"I have opened my eyes to see the world that surrounds me, daily." - They see the world for what it truly is. They see all the people who think they are all high and mighty.
"i refuse to be led by the majority can't compromise i and i" - Refuse to go by everyone else's standard. Won't compromise his beliefs.
"to pass judgment, judgment will be passed upon you" - Possibly: Since you pass judgment upon people, a higher power (Possibly God) will do the same.
"i will stand up for who i am never moved by condemnation" - He will stand up for everything he is, no matter WHAT anyone else says.
"no one is placed higher than another no matter race or creed or gender" - We are all human beings, we are all equals.
"we must teach forgiveness and compassion for all life" - We must teach forgiveness and compassion for all life to others (Possibly children) instead of teaching them stuff like racism, holding a grudge, and hate.
"through understanding of our differences we will find respect for one another" - Through understanding of differences, you will know how to better get along, eventually finding out what you have in common with a fellow person.
"we are all flesh and blood" - When it all comes down to it, no matter rich or poor, black or white, we are all flesh and blood.
"i am not afraid to speak my mind no matter the consequences stay true to myself" - He is not afraid to talk about his beliefs or spread the word no matter how the haters take it.
"through the humble eyes of a child we will realize true equality" - Children don't judge people by color, They could be taught a racial slur but not fully comprehend or think it makes sense unless being raised racist.
"they cannot take me from me" - No matter what, they cannot take who you are away from you.

I dont know what the original version was like but on this is one of the best on "Alive or Just Breathing", muchly deserves a 5. Unlike most of there songs theres no melodic chorus, just pure brutality throughout. You really need to hear this song, just for the end-"Throuuuuuugh the humble eyes, OF. A. CHIIIILD, we will realise true equality", its absolutley heart hammering and will leave you breathless

This song is most excellent and forthright. It puts forward the idea, which although hardly orgininal to this band, is one of the most powerful and right ideals that mankind has... to stand true, to not discrimate between either race, colour, creed, gender or sexuality.
Refusing 'to be led by the majority' has become a bit of a hardcore cliche, but here it does not sound cliched or hackneyed in any way... just the truth. You can hear the righteous anger that spews forth from Jesse's lungs, and believe it to be nothing other than an absolute fact.
Excellent music, excellent song, excellent band. Crying shame Jesse decided to leave when he did.

Jesse Leach interview: "Vida Infra" is the good old unity song. It speaks about how there is no one else who is better than another person, and we should all have the chance for equality, and just overall to embrace love and respect for your fellow man."

altho u probably wont care...vide infra to have your attention diverted to look down...if u didnt know that already!!!

They're amazing live. And now all you shiney happy people can enjoy them. If prepared to travel to London from your corner of the planet. Or wait for them to play somewhere closer. ~T~

I love the line: "I refuse to be led by the majority", to me, its like don't give a fuck what anyone else thinks of you, for what ever reason people persecute you, give them the finger and carry on being yourself.
