Too Much Stereo Lyrics
Last night was a bitch for me-
I didn't even see it coming.
The bad bite of harsh reality-
the something connecting the
nothing of you and me.
You've been sounding kinda scratchy,
so I check the connection-
Maybe I'll check the doctor for hearing correction.
Can't speak too highly on the subject of high fidelity.
Turn up-not hearing a word you say
Turn down-listen to what I parlez
Burb up-when tempers are running high
Burn down everything we've built last night.
Last night was a bitch for me-
I didn't even see it coming.
A bad fight and no apology-
a something connecting the nothing...
Bring the left to the center and the right
to the middle-we have to
Come together, the answer to the riddle.
Don't wanna fight no more.
Bring the left to the center and the right
to the middle-we have
Come together, the answer to the riddle.
Get back to hearing mono.
There's too much stereo!!
Living on the left side of the conversation
Maybe I'll turn my back on this humiliation
You're always wrong and I'm always right
I'm on the left and you're on the right
Turn up! (check the connection)
Burn up!(hearing correction)
Last night was a bitch for me.
I didn't even see it coming.
The bad bite of harsh reality-
the something connecting the nothing...
Bring the left to the center
And the right to the middle-we have to
Come together, the answer to the riddle.
Don't wanna fight no more.
Bring the left to the center
And the right to the middle-we have
Come together, the answer to the riddle.
Get back to hearing mono.
There's too much stereo!!
I'm selfish I know-
you saved me the effort of being for real.
As long as you stand there and listen to reason,
my colors won't show-no
one will ever know.
Bring the left to the center
And the right to the middle-we have to
Come together, the answer to the riddle.
Don't wanna fight no more.
Bring the left to the center

Come together, the answer to the riddle.

I LOVE this song! Can't believe that nobody has commented on it yet!? I think the meaning is obvious: he is sick of fighting and wants things to go back to the way they were before the argument...
However I like how he puts it. There are several ideas that are used mostly relating to music. I particularly like him saying that he wants to get back to hearing mono (One unified viewpoint) instead of stereo (two people defending their own arguments). At least that is how I interpret it.
BTW WTF does "Burb up" mean!? I think its supposed to be "Burn up"
Thanks for posting this one though :)

LOVE this song! My favorite song by this band! They rock!
