Don't tell me
What it's like to love someone.
A different song for a different girl.
And to think I might be wrong.

Tell tale heart again.
Words like these won't win
Theses words and hearts.
You would come over to talk,
We'd act like there is something to say
I've learned that time can heal your wounds.
But a reminder of a scar will stay

Stay,
Right here,right by me.
Stay,
The flame has died,
Down.

Don't tell me
What it's like to love someone.
A different song for a different girl.
And to think I might be wrong.

Tell tale heart again.
Words like these won't win
These words and hearts.
You would come over to talk,
We'd act like there is something to say
I've learned that time can heal you wounds.
But a reminder of a scar will stay

Stay,
Right here,right by me
Stay,
The flame has died,
Down.

Awesone song, but I don't understand the title. I've read 'Tell Tale Heart' and I really don't see how it applies. Anyone have an opinion?

Does it just sound cool, or does it actually have a meaning?

The only way I can see it working is that maybe he broke a girls heart and feels bad for doing it. He tries to be friends with her but it really doesn't work out. Their conversations are dry and there is always a constant reminder of their relationship in his mind. Despite the relationship being dead, its still beating and living in his mind.

Wow, it makes sense to me now. Kinda cool how that worked out... as I typed it started to clear up for me!

in the 'tell tale heart' by poe the eye and the beating heart of the man never go away because he hates them so much. thats where i get confused... in the song it seems like he almost doesn't want her to leave... the only thing i can figure out is the fact that neither one will go away

Ya... I'm still not fully understanding the song. He says "Tell Tale Heart again..." what the heck?

Lets look at what he says before that.

"don't tell me what it's like to love someone. a different song for a different girl. and to think i might be wrong."

    "tell tale heart again"

This is what I'm thinking. In the first part he is talking about finding the right girl. Maybe he is playing girls and coming up with clever ways of getting rid of them. He thinks he is doing a perfect job of disposing the relationships, but when it is all done he hates himself for it.

Thats kinda like the story... not really though.

Hm...in the tell tale heart, the beating heart gives the guy away...so maybe its kind of like the song is giving away his feelings...or something like that.......im not sure

I LOOOOOOOVE the intro to this song where it's just music for like 50 seconds... it's the BEST, I can totally just rock out to it and be like jumping and dancing around.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
