"No Love" as written by and Berry Jr Gordy....
if i gave everything would you still listen to me?
it could be so much better than this
i don't want you to love me anymore...
than enough
i can't be held accountable if you can't make up your mind
as much as i would like to
i can't put my hands all over you
if i put myself in that position myself to be immune to you
to keep my heart from breaking if you can't make up your mind
if i came home one last time
think of what the two of us could do
i guess we'll never know

General Commentparts of this song make me think about this guy i'm falling for who's totaly off limits, especailly "Tonight, as much as I would like to, I can't put my hands all over you." Yep, that's how I feel exactly.

General CommentIt's saying, "Don't love me anymore, cause if you do I'll have to love you back" It's a story about a person who knows the other person might be good at the present moment, but in time will end up breaking thier heart. Very sad, completely realistic........

General Commentit means hurt and pained restraint... "as much as I would like to, I can't put my hands all over you"... it's very emotional and kicks my butt.

General CommentI love this song too...I love songs that relate to me, no matter how typical they are...and no matter how much I think my current situation is untypical...it's not. Such a funny world we live in...what would we do w/o music?

General CommentEveryone interprets songs differently, but I agree completely with "blackeyedangels" that it is about loving someone who is "off limits". A song that I can relate to. -Its so hard waking up every day loving someone that you know you can't have. Especially when the feelings are mutual.

General Commentok, i don't get into lyrics of songs very much, i enjoy the actual music a lot more, but this is my favorite song in the world because of the lyrics. This song helped me to get over a 2 year relationship. Basically, I think what matt is saying, is that he's tired of giving to this girl, he's so sick of giving his entire heart, and not getting his fair share in return, he's just sick of loving her, but as long as she keeps living him, he can't stop loving her.

General CommentThese lyrics are unreal. Ive been in this situation before when ya love someone so much but ya cant risk getting your heart broken again. "Tonight, as much as I would like to, I can't put my hands all over you." Having to resist someone that much when all ya wanna do is be with them...I cant even imagen how hard that would be. I agree with dennydawger about how as long as she keeps loving him, he will love her. This is one of my fav songs cus I can relate to it so much. GUK rock!!
