Looking out of my window,
Nothing to do but to drive in circles,
But i don't want to have to go home tonight

Up and down the boulevard,
How do i survive in suburbia?
When there's nothing to do
And they take away what i love to do the most. Yeah!

Friday night
You're not gonna get in.
Saturday
Try to give it one more.
Sunday morning
Just waiting for the afternoon so I can be a kid again.

I head back to my backyard,
I know life's rough,
But sometimes it's really hard
To do what i love to do the most, yeah.

Now I'm stuck,
I'm back in the loop again.
I'm not gonna lose, I know i'm never gonna win.
Sometimes life is just that way.
But I say...

Friday night
You're not gonna get in.
Saturday
Try to give it one more.
Sunday morning
Just waiting for the afternoon so I can be a kid again.

Friday night
Saturday
Sunday morning
Just waiting for the afternoon so I can be a kid again.

And now the weekend comes,
And i try to get inside,
But the guy at the door tells me that i'm denied.

Friday night
You're not gonna get in.
Saturday
Try to give it one more.
Sunday morning
Just waiting for the afternoon so I can be a kid again.

Try to give it one more
You try to give it one more

Friday night
Saturday
Sunday morning
Just waiting for the afternoon so I can be a kid again.

The best band ever to see live. If you missed seeing them before they broke up that is sad. Atleast you should get their cds.

Everyone always says "Oh, this song is about my life" or "Oh, this song is so perfectly explaining the way I feel."

Well, here you go. This is the best song ever written, quite possibly.

this song is definatly one of the best songs ever written.. it's the song that got me hooked on edna's goldfish. living life the way you want and being yourself is defiantly the most important thing in life.. R.I.P. Edna's Goldfish

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
