    Oh my! this song is the best song ever by The Start this reminds so much of me in weird way! Amie Echo totaly kicks ass! I seen them in concert and they are awesome!

    I don't think this song is about a guy. I think it's about a girl who looses her light. Maybe light's not the best word for it..but that quality that someone has, that just brightens up the room when they walk in..I think thats what this song is about "can you lend me your shimmer, man? I need a brand new glow" I think the writer feels like they lost their sparkle and they feel the need to regain it..or something :D just my take on it...

    Thanks to her-song.net, I've found out that this song is about one of Aimee Echo's friend's who had a nighttime drug problem. This supposedly came from Echo's mouth herself, but I don't know the validity of the statement.
