This is one of those rare songs that instead of thinking of a special someone when I hear it, I hope a special someone thinks of me when she hears it.
when i first bought this album(damn it was a long time ago that this was released), this song disturbed me. no, i wasn't scared, per se, but the strings really moved me in a way i wasn't used to... and i couldn't handle listening to it very often, because i always felt so... odd afterwards. i can't really explain it... maybe it was a premonition of what the song would hold for me later, heh.
nowadays, it still touches me, but now it's not only the song's beauty in the music itself, but also because i feel so threaded into the lyrics and overall mood of the song, because of things that have happened over the years. it's bizarre how I relate differently to a song as time goes by. i'm still moved to tears by this pretty often...
it's so difficult being near to someone and yet feeling held back from saying how i feel, for fear of... the unknown, i guess.
