i dont understand this song. i've never heard anything from this band before. My ex boyfriend sent it to me (as a means of explaining how he felt?). Please enlighten me as to what this song means?
While I'm not sure exactly what the true meaning of this song really is, here are a few of my guesses. Possibly, he could be talking about a relationship, or a recovery FROM a relationship, rather. He's having a difficult time getting over it while his partner seems to have already overcome it. In a way, he's asking them for help -> "Do you still believe I'll free myself?" / "Won't you just, break me out?" A second possibility, and this is a little more off-the-wall, but it could possibly be about him overcoming an addiction of some sort. -> "Can't you see, what this sh*t has done to me?" And once again, he could be asking for help in overcoming it because he feels he can't do it alone.
