this song is so perfect. but im not sure what its about. i think it may be about finding what he really wants to make him happy.
i think the laterns and lights are something metaphorical stuff. the fog lights might represent the void he wants to fill and cant, possibly he's referring to finding a girl that he can marry and fill his lonliness.
now the end...hmm, i think maybe this girl that he is looking for is right near him and he just doesnt understand, but the last two lines i cant tie into that...any ideas?
I think he knows the girl that he wants, hes just not doing anything about it, maybe because hes afraid, hes just waiting for things to get done by themselves....but by then it may be too late. this band is incredible, everyone should hear their music!!!
