not feeling, not nothing, good intentions
but jealousy takes over all
excuses, abuses, this time i know it's not over so i
take all my pride & i shove it back down inside
this time, harassment's gone too far
get away from me, stay the fuck away from me (x4)
he wanted more, one ~, a silent score
ruin my life, kill me now & burn my soul
get away from me, stay the fuck away from me (x4)
{What, is it me?
you can't go out at night, answer me
tell me all about your other life, answer me
what about all those times you looked me in the eyes and said you lied?
you know it's over, over} {x3}
i'm through
get away from me, stay the fuck away from me (x4)
you sold your soul to ~

At first this song really really scared me, but I grew to like it a lot. Probably just about some person who started out with good intentions, and good thoughts, but everything in life brought him/her down, and this person eventually goes crazy with all the things happening n stuff ;p heh.

Is anyone reminded of Eyeless by Slipknot - a band that Kittie's members are/were friends with? "Who the FUCK are you? FUCK YOU! Better suck it up cause you bled through Better get away from me Stay the fuck away from me!"

this song for me is, in a sense, ironic -- i had an ex named brandon (the name "brandon" means "little raven" and the song is called "raven". i heard this song right after i found out that he was cheating on me with another girl and to me, that's what this song is about, mainly because i'm projecting my own experiences into the song. when it says, "He Wanted More. Wanted a Silenced Whore," it means to me that all he wanted out of the relationship was sex and now the singer is done with his bullshit.

so to me, this song is about control, cheating, and resolve to get away from the toxic relationship, but that's just my opinion.

This is a song about a guy repidlity breaking up with a girl (probably Morgan), and getting back together. She calls it "harassment" because he is constantly messing with her head. Then, he finally breaks it off for good and gets a new girl, and morgan still thinks he is hers, so of course, shes filled with jealously. But, in realizing what he really was, and how he hurt her, she lets out all of her anger and screams for him just to stay away once and for all. All the torture he put her through surfaces in her intense chorus. She realized he used her for sex, and she feels stepped on, angry, and sad all at the same time.

"Tell Me About Your Others, I've Started To Like That. Answer Me. What About All Those Times You Looked Me In The Eyes And Said You Lied. " She reveals how he cheated on her inbetween breakups.

Morgan ends the song in an intense empowering phrase giving her the upperhand, and telling him that in his actions, he just made her stronger. Or atleast thats how I took it.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
