Too Little Too Late Lyrics
You say, "Why does everything I do confound you?"
You say, that I pull the world from under you
You can't go through it this time
And it'll be great, just wait - Or is it too little too late?
And that day, I could think of things that won't remind me
And these days it's unbearable for both of us,
We can't discuss it this way
I'm gaining pounds at the precipice of too late
Just wait
And it'll be great, just wait - Or is it too little too late?
Yesterday wasn't half as tough as this time
This time isn't Hell
Last time, couldn't tell
This mind wasn't well
Next time, hope I'm...
If I knew I was understood
And it'll be great, just wait
Or is it too little too late?

another cool bnl song ;-)

alright, the line "record and play, after years of endless rewind" I've always thought it was "we couldn't pay, after years of endless free wine." And I've seen it like that on some websites, and some websites like this way. I'm confused.
Anyway, I think this song is about being in a relationship where the other person just isn't content with you some of the time, and absolutely worships you sometimes. It's written from the point of view of a guy or a girl who just want to make the other person happy, but doubts the other really understands them as a person.'
There's my two sense, and I agree, Steven Page for president!

I always thought it was "we're caught in play after years of endless rewind"... but I think I'm wrong. Anyway, it seems to be about two people in a relationship that really isn't working out, and one of the people wants to try and make it work, but the other person isn't helping- and besides, it may be 'too little too late'.

a song with a lot of clapping indeed. its about a fucked up relationship. just about when things are going to completely fall apart, they try to save it, but its too little too late

i think it's a song based on person who has mainly attracted to someone else. This other person obviously doesn't feel the same way and thinks they have no chance of being in a relationship...in that way. so this person who is trying to make things work out is and force fate upon them is saying that the pure idea of them together would result in greatnes and perfection. he/she wants to prove to the toher person that it would great---if they just gave in. however the twist in this song is doubting their fate. do they too little to base their level of relationship on or is it too late for them. has timing taken on a toll on a chance for them to embrace eachother into theirm lives.

Great song, as always.

I've been in this situation before...
Basically, it's about being in a relationship where you are constantly arguing with each other, you go over the same issues over and over again.
She is continually telling him what he's doing wrong, but he never corrects it. He feels she never listens to HIS issues. He finally decides to turn it around and make himself a better person. Finally, moving forward instead of reliving the same arguments: "Record and play, after years of endless rewind"
Unfortunately, he's realized it too late. She'll leave him and there's nothing he can do about it.

catchy

catchy

Somehow....it sounds like that of the song "Footloose", just my opinion.lol
