You do realize they're just doing a heavy metal outlook on Jesus being crucified on the cross, right? Pick up the cross, pick up the nails, it's killin time= a reference to when the romans crucified Jesus and Jesus just let it happen. Their take is he did it to cleanse sins but also to give the world a thrill by letting his memory inpsire and fill their life. Regardless of what they did, they'll kill Jesus, then someone will bring him back through body or memory, only to kill him again. Kill me, Heal me, On and On. That's the basic take of the song. Christian Bands can be predictable imo. Still, a good song.

I would agree with sydney77 in that it means your dieing to your sinful nature and as you die God is healing you. Its a daily thing so it has to go on and on. The chorus seems to indicate that once you have died from sins and worldly nature you are than living for God. God is in your lungs resuscitateing you and His peace flows through you. So God is taking the place of your air supply and blood, figuativly speaking. The part about giving your pain feet and fear wings, I think, means that once you live for God your pain and fear leave. No way does this mean you wont feel pain anymore but God will help you make the pain and fear leave, send them packing so to speak.
